The Madera District Fair is an independently run state agency known as the 21A District Agricultural Association. We are home to a number of community events including the annual Madera Fair held in September every year and the Pomegranate Festival presented by the Madera Chamber of Commerce. Many interim events take place on the grounds and full-time rentals including the Madera Speedway, the Madera Flea Market and the Good Time Quarter Midget Track.
Our Mission
The Madera District Fair strives to meet the needs of our community by providing a venue that is fun, safe and family oriented while promoting agriculture, community and educational opportunities.
Our vision
The vision of Madera District Fair is to be an innovative, state of the art facility which through good stewardship and financial stability enables the Fair to develop programs that focus on education, agriculture, history, community partnerships, arts and entertainment.
Operations
The Madera District Fair has an operating budget of $2 million per year. The Fair does not receive any tax money and must generate its own revenue in order to break even,
The Fair maintains its expenses by their annual four-day fair, rental agreements with year round tenants and renting out the buildings for private functions.
