CELEBRATE THE FUN and the timeless tradition of fair entries! Lots of smiles, BLUE RIBBONS, Best of Shows and cash awards await you, your friends and family. Celebrate the homemade goodness and get to work on your 2024 entries! We look forward to seeing you in the halls and on the grounds September 5-8th 2024.


CELEBRATE THE blue ribbons!

Madera District Fair is a place to compete and display every September and your exhibit entries are part of the FAIR TRADITION. Let's Celebrate the vibrant competitions with cupcakes, paintings, your garden treasures through floriculture or Grandma's jelly recipe and more! Enter your Livestock, the driving reason for Madera District Fair's inception.

Updates to exhibiting!

In order to give a few more options as well as more time for folks to get their entries in, we have moved the ENTRY CLOSING DATE(S) back. AND we will allow the actual exhibit hall items to be brought in WITH your entry form. Save a trip! We have also moved the RECEIVING DATE(S) back, with two days to pick from.
Here's a list of the new things:
    • Maker's Market Division for local boutiques.
    • 4 NEW divisions in Floriculture!
    • You can bring your exhibit hall items (baked goods excluded) on entry closing dates WITH your forms!
    • The LOCAL pie contest is now BEST APPLE PIE.
    • NEW hours for final receiving times.
    • Check out the SPECIAL CONTESTS!
    • Live Beard Contest.
    • Did we mention NO ENTRY FEES when you enter still and floriculture contests online by August 1st?!






The 2024 Exhibitor Handbook is full of exciting contests including the Makers Market Division for local boutiques, the Great American Chocolate Chip Cookie Contest returns, the infamous local homemade is now BEST APPLE PIE, Livestock and FUN Featured Contests in LIVESTOCK! You’ll find classic competitions and a great section with special FEATURED CONTESTS at the beginning of the Exhibit Hall section. Here’s a quick breakdown:

  • Youth Contests – 18 yrs. and younger

  • Adult Contests - 19 yrs. and older

  • Junior Livestock Contests
  • NEW Featured Livestock Contests; "Barnyard Dress-Up", Adult Showmanship and Master Showmanship
