Madera District Fair is a place to compete and display every September and your exhibit entries are part of the FAIR TRADITION. Let's TAKE IT BACK to cupcakes, entering your painting, showing-off your garden treasures through floriculture or grabbing Grandma's jelly recipe and giving it a go! Enter your Livestock, the driving reason for Madera District Fair's inception.

Updates to exhibiting!

In order to give a few more options as well as more time for folks to get their entries in, we have moved the ENTRY CLOSING DATE(S) back. AND we will allow the actual exhibit hall items to be brought in WITH your entry form. Save a trip! We have also moved the RECEIVING DATE(S) back, with two days to pick from.
Here's a list of the new things:
    • TWO entry closing dates.
    • NEW hours for closing times.
    • You can bring your exhibit hall items (baked goods excluded) on entry closing dates WITH your forms!
    • TWO final receiving dates.
    • NEW hours for final receiving times.
    • Did we mention NO ENTRY FEES when you enter still and floriculure contests online by August 1st?!






The 2022 Exhibitor Handbook is full of exciting contests including "Unmasked and Repurposed", Amelia Earhart Paper Airplane Contest, NEW Great American Chocolate Chip Cookie Conteat, Livestock and FUN Featured Contests in LIVESTOCK! You’ll find classic competitions and a great section with special FEATURED CONTESTS at the beginning of the Exhibit Hall section. Here’s a quick breakdown:

  • Youth Contests – 18 yrs. and younger

Floriculture (Gardening) Section Includes:
  • Adult Contests - 19 yrs. and older

Livestock Section
  • Junior Livestock Contests
  • NEW Featuired Livestock Contests; "Lipstick on a Pig", Adult Showmanship and Master Showmanship
