COMMUNITY ACTS
Community Acts are a fair tradition, making room for local talent and performers! Young and the young at heart are encouraged to apply for stage time and space. The Madera Fair is proud to provide this venue to showcase diverse acts such as singing, dancing, musical talents, martial arts, and more. Madera Fair is “Your Fair since 1937”! Whether you stroll the grounds or display your talent, the community is what makes this fair special. The invitation is extended to you, the community.

DATES TO KNOW:
- Applications open April 13, 2026
- Applications must be submitted by July 24, 2026
- Upon notification of your scheduled act, you may come to the Madera Fair Office to receive your credentials.
NEW FOR 2026:
- Groups exceeding the limit of 25 participant credentials will automatically be scheduled for Thursday (Opening Night).
- Groups requesting a Friday–Sunday performance must purchase additional credentials for any participants and chaperones exceeding the 25-person limit.
- The application allows you to select preferred performance dates. While we will make every effort to accommodate requests, dates are not guaranteed.
- Performers 12 and under receive free daily admission when accompanied by an adult. Please complete your application accurately to ensure proper issuance of chaperone passes.
- Schedule development will begin after August 1, 2026.
- Performance confirmations and details will be distributed mid-August.
- Each performance is strictly limited to 25 participants. This is the maximum capacity of the performance area.
- Groups exceeding this limit may be scheduled for Opening Night only, or Will be required to purchase additional admission tickets
- Performances must be limited to either; 20 minutes, or 50 minutes. This ensures adequate time for setup and breakdown between acts.
- Friends, family, and supporters must be prepared to purchase fair admission upon entry.
- Passes will be issued to performers and chaperones.
- For youth performers ages 13–18, groups will receive; 1 chaperone pass for every 5 youth performers.
- Band Applications; While band applications are accepted, approvals are limited due to load-in/load-out requirements and existing entertainment scheduling during the Fair.
