ENTRANCE GUIDELINES

We want you and your family to enjoy a safe, family friendly trip to the fair! To make your visit to the Fair an enjoyable experience, we appreciate your compliance with our guidelines.


ITEMS NOT PERMITTED:

  • Open containers, cans or bottles. A factory sealed water bottle will be permitted.
  • Alcoholic beverages
  • Controlled substances
  • Weapons of any kind (including, but not limited to guns, knives, pocket knives, stun-guns, tasers, mace, pepper spray, tear gas, chains and or any other firearms or weapons) regardless of whether the guest holds a concealed weapons permit
  • Bicycles
  • Animals
  • Ice Chests
  • Skates, roller blades, skateboards,
  • Unauthorized vehicles

The following are NOT allowed:

  • Disruptive behavior or unlawful acts
  • Solicitation, distribution or selling of product outside of a contracted booth

Guests and all packages are subject to inspection. Everyone entering the Fair will have to pass through a walk-through metal detector unless physically unable; then a hand wand will be used.

The Madera Fair is an active filming and photography site in all areas during operation. By entering, patrons grant the Fair permission to have their image recorded, reproduced and become property of the Madera District Fair for use in marketing and advertising. They also understand that they are subject to having their image and/or likeness appear in Sponsor or Media photography, video, broadcasts and/or webcasts.

Shirts and shoes are required to be worn at all times.


YOUTH ADMISSION POLICY:

Purpose
To enhance the safety, security, and overall experience of all fairgoers, particularly during high-traffic evening hours, Madera District Fair has adopted the following Youth Admission Policy, effective 7/16/2025. This policy outlines entry requirements for minors and expectations for adult supervision.

• Minors (under 18) must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian age 21+ to enter after 7:00 p.m.
• Valid photo ID is required to verify age after 7:00 p.m.
• Unaccompanied minors will not be admitted after 7:00 p.m. without proper ID and adult supervision
• Each adult may chaperone up to 5 minors
• Supervising adult must remain on the fairgrounds while minors are present
• Minors must provide contact info for their supervising adult upon request
• Misconduct by minors may result in detention and release only to their supervising adult.
• No re-entry allowed after 10:00 p.m. – hand stamps will not be honored after this time
• Policy is strictly enforced; all final decisions are made by Fair Management
