It's true, we held the inaugural Ferris Wheel VIRTUAL 5k as part of the 2019 Madera Fair!
Registered guests ran or walked a 5k or "said they did" at their convenience and on the honor system sometime before the FAIR. Registered participants THEN joined the VIP Ferris Wheel 5k FINISH LINE at the Fair on September 6th and gathered ALL the fun amenities!
YES YOU CAN STILL VIRTUALLY PARTICIPATE thru 12/2019-
VIRTUAL 5k Medal ($30) includes:
- A custom spinning FERRIS WHEEL 5k medal
- Medal sent by mail following your completed online registration.
What does VIRTUAL mean?
Virtual means the race is ran on your time and at your location which can happen virtually anywhere! This also means there is not an officially marked or scheduled 5k course and time. HOWEVER, we have a VERY REAL finish line arch and VIP treatment on September 6th at the Madera Fair for those paid participants who deserve some celebratin' and have earned that corndog! Kids and kids at heart are ALL encouraged to participate!
