We are celebrating our very first Hometown Night Market, Friday, May 8th from 5pm-10pm! FREE to enter and shop local vendors, EAT good food and sip on cool beverages while taking in the vibes of a perfect sunset night outdoors on the grounds! Music, cornhole tournament and family fun is in the making. Be sure to follow Madera Fair socially for all the details. VENDORS let's get those applications in!

WELCOME to the very first, 2026 Hometown Night Market
Thank You for your interest in HOMETOWN NIGHT MARKET! We are looking for creative, unique, local businesses, artisans, crafters and more to join our event. We will carefully review applications, selecting a diverse group of vendors that hold to an excellent standard in presentation and product for a great shopping experience for our guests. Vendor approval will start soon.

VENDOR FEES:
Our indoor spaces are set in Lumbertown as traditional indoor 10'x10' spaces. Outdoor 10'x10' spaces are located on the grounds .
  • $70 Lumbertown Retail Vendor
  • $70 Outdoor Retail Vendor
  • $100 Food Vendor
  • $20 Power Request for limited spaces.
  • $25 Insurance Fee, unless you provide your own.

* An application submission DOES NOT guarantee or assign booth space. Hometown Night Market spaces are issued AFTER the application is approved and fees are paid. No guarantees of any kind are made.

*Madera Fair requires insurance for each vendor; coverage may be purchased through California Fair Services Authority facilitated by Madera Fair. If you are able to provide your own insurance, please check appropriate box.

*Food Vendors at Hometown Night Market are required to have an approved permit/license from Madera County Environmental Health Dept. This can be purchased for $165.00. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.


VENDOR DETAILS:
Terms, Rules, Regulations and Responsibilities of Vendors

1. Vendor agrees to pay a vendor space fee, dependent on location of vendor space. Full payment must be received within 3 business days of approval. NO refunds will be given, NO EXCEPTIONS.

2. Vendor spaces are approximate in shape and dimension as noted in the space options of the application. We will attempt to fulfill your booth location request, but reserve the right to make changes, if necessary, at any time. Some indoor vendors spaces come with pipe and drape as part of management's decorative branding.

3. 2026 show date is Friday, May 8th, 2026. Hours are 5pm-10pm. Early Exit is not permitted.

4. Vendor Set Up is FRIDAY, May 8th, from 1:00pm-4:30 pm. Please be considerate when unloading your vehicle and make sure you move as promptly as possible for others. Vendor parking is available free of charge in LOT D located behind Hatfield Hall. You must check out before leaving at closing.

5. Please always be watchful of your items and booth. HOMETOWN NIGHT MARKET is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged items.

6. Please keep your booth spaces neat and tidy during the event. Remove trash as necessary into the provided receptacles, and store your boxes, bins, and tubs out of sight. Vendors must stay within their assigned space markings. No chairs, display or products are allowed in the public aisles.

7. HOMETOWN NIGHT MARKET does not provide internet, tables, chairs, tablecloths, or pop-up tents. Please make sure that all tables are covered with a fabric covering that reaches the floor. NO tents, canopies or pop-ups are allowed indoors at Lumbertown. Pop-Up Tents are permitted for outdoor spaces and must follow Fire Marshal policies.

8. Merchandise must be clean and clearly priced. Please keep all items for sale & displayed family friendly. Prohibited sales items include unauthorized food, alcohol, animals, weapons, drug paraphernalia, and other products that might be deemed inappropriate for the product mix. Products, Menu Items, and Services not listed on your application will not be permitted.

9. We are sorry, but animals are not allowed at the market.

10. This is a juried event, meaning that all vendors will be hand selected based on the product they will be selling by internal committee. If your application is approved, you will be notified.

11. All vendors must adhere to the rules and regulations. Violation could result in permanent suspension from future shows.

12. All vendors must provide a Certificate of Liability naming Madera District Fair with required language provided in contract. A $25 fee for insurance can be purchased through California Fairs Services Authority. Please mark box appropriately.

13. In case of weather changes, we may cancel due to grounds being compromised to operate. In that case we will give a full refund for vendors that were scheduled to participate.

14. Food and Beverage Vendors will need to provide a current cottage license or Madera County Health Permit. If you do not have either, a single day Madera County Health Permit can be purchased for an additional cost of $165.00.


15. POP-UPS or tents are NOT permitted inside Lumbertown, where indoor booth spaces are hosted.
